How about feeling good? So many people don’t know how bad they actually feel. They suffer with aches and pains. They are tired and lethargic at times. They battle with depression and anxiety. After a little fun on a cruise ship, lake or camp spot, they are sore. Really sore. It doesn’t have to be that way!
When you take care of your body, detox yourself through natural means like eating plenty of vegetables, rest enough, make sure you are getting your daily micro and macro nutrients, exercise and a few other things, you will be amazed how good you can regularly feel. I have read and seen so many people who have cleaned up their diet and lifestyle talk about how they didn’t know it was possible to feel this good. They thought that feeling “not great” was feeling as good as it gets.
In the old days, we used to have to give our cars a tune up every 5-10k miles. That mean new plugs and probably new points, condense, distributor cap and filters. There were other components of the ignition system and fuel system, but those were the ones that wore out quickly compared to today’s cars. When you would replace those things in your vehicle, you could really tell a difference. The engine started easier, revved faster, accelerated faster and got better gas mileage! You don’t have to replace any parts inside your body, but you can live in such a way that you will be firing on all cylinders all the time. You will feel better and actually perform better. You will have more energy, wake up fresher, be able to handle more of life, live longer and of course move faster. When you feel bad you just want the day to be over. Usually you want to sit and…, eat. The cycle continues. Sit. Eat.
Of course when you feel better and live better you look better. It is a great byproduct! You can be motivated by looking good, but honestly, you can be unhealthy and look great. Fitness is not just about push ups, it is being able to live on a higher level. Feeling good, living good and even looking good. That’s the cycle I want. How about you?
